Saturday, May 25th. The City of Claflin and its All-School Reunion Committee will co-sponsor the Claflin Memorial Weekend Bash. Activities will include a 5k walk and run the morning of May 25th, followed by a dance from 5:00 PM until midnight. For more information call 620-793-2772.
Saturday, May 25th. The Rozel-Pawnee Heights Alumni Banquet will be held beginning at 6:30 PM in the Pawnee Heights gymnasium in Rozel. Please bring a covered dish, table service will be proviced. All alumni and former teachers are invited to attend.

Saturday, June 1st. Hoisington will host the 4th Annual Mud Run, beginning at 1:00 PM. The event will take place just south of the railroad tracks on the east side of Highway 281. Entry fee for participants is $25.00 for trucks and $15.00 for ATVs. Spectator admission is $10.00 and $5.00 for children ages 6 - 12.
Friday, June 14th. The 20th Annual Clara Barton Hospical Foundation Benefit Golf Tournament, Dinner and Auction, will be held at Lake Barton Golf Course with tee times beginning at 8:00 AM. Cost to enter the tournament is $90.00 per player or $360.00 per team. Advance registration is encouraged by June 10th. There will be a dinner and auction later that evening. Saturday, June 29th. The First Annual Chase Fest Classic Car Show on main street in Chase. Registration will be from 9:00 until 11:00 AM with awards at 4:00 PM. All makes and models are welcome. Entry fee is $20.00 by June 15th, and $25.00 the day of the show.
Monday, May 27th. The Barton County Historical Society will be open for Memorial Day from 1:00 until 5:00 PM. Regular admission will be charged. This special opening is to accommodate families and visitors that are here for the holiday.
Friday, June 7th. It's time for free movies and popcorn at the Great Bend Public Library. The kids' summer movie will be 'Cars' at 3:30 PM for all ages.
